Technical Bulletin - Practitioner
The Premier Basic Longevity Panel is a foundational genomic assessment test designed to uncover individual variations in genes that influence aging and vitality. Designed around the 12 Hallmarks of Aging, this test analyzes over 60 gene markers across seven categories, empowering practitioners and clients to create targeted lifestyle and nutritional protocols that supports healthy aging by understanding the genetic variants that correlate with aging.
These seven categories include:
1. Biological Aging & Adaptation
This core category evaluates resilience factors related to DNA integrity, cellular repair, and stress adaptation. Genetic insights into DNA repair mechanisms and telomere length regulation can inform longevity-supportive strategies such as intermittent fasting, cold therapy, and adaptogenic support.
2. Genetic/DNA Protection
Polymorphisms affecting genomic stability (e.g., TERT, APOE, NAMPT-AS1) which may influence how efficiently the body repairs DNA damage.
3. Telomere Protection
Telomeres—protective caps on chromosomes—shorten with age. Our test evaluates gene variants linked to telomere biology can help guide the use of lifestyle strategies and key nutrients such as D3, EPA/DHA, and Methylation donors to support telomerase expression and telomere integrity .
4. Environmental Stress Protection
Genes that influence detoxification capacity and response to environmental toxins (e.g., GATD3, SERPINH1) which can reveal the body’s ability to adapt to oxidative stress. Depending on results, clinicians may consider calcium bentonite clay, liver support, or lifestyle augmentations to minimize toxic burden.
